Intro

What is Yelay

Yelay provides infrastructure and tooling that allow crypto companies to easily integrate yield-generating 'Earn' products for stablecoins, ETH and BTC into their applications, without the need for deep DeFi expertise or smart contract development knowledge. If you are:

  • DeFAI project (that requires action providers that earn yield)

  • Launchpool (deposit X -> farm token Y)

and want to provide 'Stake & Earn' feature for your clients, then Yelay is the right choice for you.

Instead of developing individual connections to DeFi protocols that generate yield and be susceptible to yield drops, companies using Yelay get connected to the infrastructure that rebalances users' liquidity seeking best yield opportunities and compounds farmed rewards, in one go.

Yelay SDK

Yelay Lite SDK is a TypeScript npm package that provides a convenient way to interact with Yelay protocol. It encapsulates RPC calls to the Yelay smart contracts, making it easier for developers to integrate Yelay functionality into their own projects.

This document contains code snippets of all SDK functions, along with short explanations. On top of that, all the important concepts are explained in an easy-to-understand manner that includes text and schemes. In that way we enable developers, new to Yelay , to quickly get a grasp of how things work to speed up their onboarding.

Yelay V3 is extremely modular and focuses on these 5 key functional ‘Yield Layer for partners’ requirements:

  1. Generate max risk-adjusted yield from connected protocols at the given point of time

  2. Provide simple tooling for the ‘convert yield to anything’ use case

  3. The kinds of strategies/protocols that vault can be connected to is possible to change over time

  4. Cheap gas on deposits

  5. Fit for multi-chain

Multi-chain Yelay

In March 2025 Yelay V3 is available on Base, with deployments on Ethereum, Sonic and non-EVM chains like Sui being on their way.
